Every stone in the vault ships with its Kimberley Process record and a named source mine. Ask us and we will show you the paper trail.
The cutter is in the building
Grading, cutting and polishing happen under one roof — the same craftsman who selects the rough finishes the stone. Nothing gets outsourced, nothing gets lost in translation.
Three independent grades
Every stone above 0.50 ct carries a GIA, IGI or HRD report. We show you the report before we quote the price.

Rapaport, spread, our margin — all on the same page. You leave knowing what you paid for, and why.

A rough diamond passes through six benches at Paavan before it is boxed. Each has a person whose name we know, whose hands we trust, and whose signature is on the stone card.

four questions.
Every diamond is priced against four measurements. The order they appear in the report matters less than the order they matter to the eye — which is why our own conversations always start with cut.

Colour
From D (colourless) down to Z. Most eyes stop noticing after H.
Under normal light most buyers cannot tell G from D. Save the money for cut.
C03
Clarity
Where the stone was, geologically speaking.
VS1 is our house floor — clean to the naked eye, characterful under a loupe.
C04
Carat
Weight, not size. A 1.00ct round measures 6.5mm across.
A well-cut 0.90 will out-shine a shallow 1.10 every time. The number is not the stone.
